An American Airline flight 759 carrying 287 passengers and 12 crew members from Greece to Philadelphia encountered severe turbulence shortly before landing on Saturday.
3 passengers and 7 crew members were taken to the hospital for evaluation after the plane landed at 3.10 p.m.
Flight attendants had just finished served the drinks before the plane lurched. The drinks went on flying and people also slammed into the ceiling, according to reports.
American Airline says the ‘fasten seat belt’ sign was on at the time and thanked the team members for keeping the passengers safe.
